theUsenet Rolls Out New Account Pricing

theUsenet has updated their Usenet account types and pricing.  The new plans include a wide range of unlimited, metered and block accounts at a lower price than previously offered by theUsenet.  For those interested in unlimited downloads they are now offering the unlimited plan for $9.50 a month.  With block Usenet accounts ranging from 10 GB all the way up to 1000 GB of non-expiring newsgroup downloads.

Looking over the account list our favorites inlcude the unlimited plan for $9.50 a month and 200 GB block account (not seen in the image above) for $15.  Here’s a a listing of the monthly plans and pricing:

  • Unlimited – $9.50 a month
  • 100 GB a month – $8.00 a month
  • 50 GB a month – $6.50 a month
  • 30 GB a month – $5.25 a month
  • 15 GB a month – $4.00 a month

Along with theUsenet block account pricing:

  • 10 GB block – $2.75
  • 25 GB block – $6.75
  • 50 GB block – $11.75
  • 75 GB block – $13.75
  • 100 GB block – $12.50
  • 200 GB block – $15.00
  • 500 GB block – $40.00
  • 1000 GB block – $65.00

Both the 60 GB monthly special and 17 GB block plan are great prices.  Just remember the 60 GB account is billed monthly while the 17 GB block is only billed once.  With block Usenet access from many services (including theUsenet) you can continue downloading until you use up the gigs purchased.  In this case 17 GB.
