Giganews recently announced the addition of a new public sharing feature to Golden Frog’s Dump Truck online storage service. Members now have the option to share their stored files with friends and family via public links. With the ability to optionally secure your links with passwords and link expiration dates. The new feature is available to all members. Diamond subscribers can store up to 30 GB while other plans are capped at 5 gigs.
To share a file or folder you can hover over it and click “create public link”. From there you’ll be presented with the opportunity to name your link, set an expiration date and enter a password if desired. You can create multiple links to the same content and track the number of times each one is used to download your content.
